Invisible, Unfoolable
Perimeter Security

Unlike cameras or radar, buried fiber optic cables cannot be detected, jammed, or blinded by weather. A single Sensorlines interrogator monitors up to 100 km of perimeter in real time — classifying humans, vehicles, and digging events with >95% accuracy.

Border Security & Perimeter Intrusion Detection

Buried DAS fiber turns an entire border fence or coastline into a continuous, invisible acoustic sensor network. Every footstep, vehicle, or digging event is detected, classified, and located to within ±5 m in real time — 24/7, in all weather conditions, with zero electromagnetic signature.

How It Works

Sensing fiber is buried alongside or within the fence structure at 0.5–1 m depth. Ground vibrations from footsteps, vehicle movement, fence cutting, or tunnel digging couple into the fiber and propagate to the interrogator endpoints. Advanced signal processing and machine-learning classification identifies the event type, distinguishing between humans, animals, and vehicles — delivering GPS-correlated alerts to the security operations centre within 5 seconds. No power or active components are needed along the perimeter fence itself.

Key Capabilities

  • Up to 100 km coverage from a single interrogator unit
  • Human / vehicle / animal classification with >95% accuracy
  • Underground tunnel and cross-border digging detection
  • All-weather, day/night — unaffected by fog, sand, or darkness
  • Immune to RF jamming, spoofing, and cyber attack on sensors

Military Base & Cantonment Security Monitoring

Sensorlines fiber optic sensing provides covert, electromagnetic-silent perimeter and area protection for military installations. With zero RF emissions and no surface-visible components, the system cannot be detected, spoofed, or jammed by adversarial electronic warfare capabilities.

How It Works

Fiber deployed in a buried grid pattern or along installation perimeter walls. Multiple simultaneous intrusion events are detected and individually tracked. Blast, explosion, and seismic shock signatures are characterised and correlated with specific sectors. All data feeds directly into Command & Control systems via encrypted, hardened links. The system is resistant to EMP attack, and its passive-optical nature means it continues operating even during total power blackout.

Key Capabilities

  • Zero electromagnetic signature — undetectable by enemy sensors
  • Simultaneous multi-sector intrusion event tracking
  • C2 / SCADA / BMS integration via encrypted hardened links
  • Blast, explosion, and IED detonation detection and localisation
  • Fully covert underground installation with no visible surface elements
  • EMP-hardened passive optics — operates through power blackout

Critical Infrastructure Protection

Power stations, water treatment plants, nuclear facilities, data centers, and government communications hubs require multi-layered physical security. Sensorlines DAS provides simultaneous acoustic intrusion detection and structural threat monitoring — triggering CCTV, access control, and emergency response in under 3 seconds.

How It Works

Fiber deployed around and within facility perimeters monitors for acoustic signatures of fence cutting, wall drilling, glass breaking, and personnel movement. Acoustic sensors detect structural vibrations from explosives, vehicle ram attacks, and underground access tunnelling. The system integrates with video management platforms — triggering nearest-camera PTZ movement and recording upon detection. Government-grade encrypted communications link to national security operations centres.

Key Capabilities

  • Simultaneous perimeter and structural integrity monitoring
  • Triggered CCTV and access control integration via open API
  • Explosion, vehicle ram, and blast wave detection and localisation
  • Underground tunnel and access shaft detection
  • Facility-wide continuous acoustic surveillance
  • Government-grade certification and compliance

Seaport & Harbor Security Monitoring

Underwater and quayside DAS systems protect harbors, naval bases, and seaport infrastructure from diver intrusion, unauthorized vessel approach, and IED attachment — providing real-time underwater acoustic surveillance without sonar emissions.

How It Works

Underwater sensing fiber deployed along jetty structures, breakwaters, and harbor floor detects the acoustic signatures of divers (rebreather noise), vessel propellers, and ROV motor systems. Topside fiber along quayside fences monitors for land-based intrusion. All acoustic signatures are classified in real time — diver, swimmer, ROV, and vessel — with position output to the harbor security operations centre. Unlike active sonar, the passive system generates no acoustic emissions that could alert intruders.

Key Capabilities

  • Underwater diver and swimmer detection up to 2 km range
  • Vessel approach and propeller classification (>90% accuracy)
  • IED attachment detection on hull and pier structures
  • Quayside fence and gate intrusion detection
  • Vessel Traffic System (VTS) integration
  • Passive operation — no acoustic emissions alerting intruders

Airport Perimeter Security Monitoring

Buried DAS fiber along runway perimeters and airport boundary fences provides invisible, continuous detection of fence climbing, vehicle breakthrough, and runway incursions — integrated seamlessly with existing airport security management systems.

How It Works

Sensing fiber buried at 1 m depth along the airport boundary fence detects ground vibrations from fence climbing, digging, and vehicle approach. The system classifies events as pedestrian, vehicle, or aircraft-ground, with ±5 m location accuracy along the full perimeter. Runway-parallel fibers detect ground vehicle intrusion onto active runways, alerting ATC within seconds. Integration with Airport Operations Database (AODB) and Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS) enables automated responses including lighting activation, PTZ camera tasking, and ATC voice alerts.

Key Capabilities

  • Full airport perimeter coverage with no gaps or blind spots
  • Pedestrian / vehicle / aircraft ground classification
  • Runway intrusion detection with <5 s ATC alert
  • Unaffected by aircraft noise, weather, or electromagnetic interference
  • Integration with AODB, PIDS, and airport security operations centre
  • CAA / TSA / ICAO-compatible security architecture
